Forget about artworks that ban selfie sticks. There is now a museum specially designed for social media snapshots.
Immediately out of the myth of the Tumblr exec, a new attraction called Art in Island within the Philippines uses replicas of three-D artworks to place visitors in the middle of the most famous works of art. As a result it was called the planet’s first selfie museum.
Actively encouraging guests to share their studies with friends, family and followers, Museum Secretary Blythe Kambaya explained, “Here, if you are not with them, there are no artworks, unless you take them with you. “
So step into the skies of Van Gogh, give a% pause in King Tut’s tomb, or play hand in hand with C. M. Coolidge’s poker-loving puppies. Then tweet a gram and #TBT link for your heart’s content.
